This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the thisRoadmap software-as-a-service platform (the "Service"). 1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information You Provide

When you register for an account or use the Service, we collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including: your name; your email address; and your company or organization name (if applicable).

1.2 Payment Information

When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers or payment account details on our servers. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy.

1.3 User Content

We store the roadmaps, data, and other content you create within the Service. This content is owned by you and is processed only as necessary to provide the Service.

1.4 Automatically Collected Information

When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain information, including: device information (browser type, operating system, device type); IP address; usage data (pages viewed, features used, time spent); and referring URLs and navigation paths.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes: to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to process transactions and send related information; to send administrative messages, updates, and security alerts; to respond to your comments, questions, and support requests; to monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends; to detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats; to comply with legal obligations; and to enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify:

3.1 Stripe

Purpose: Payment processing. Information shared: Payment method details, billing address, transaction amounts.

3.2 SendGrid

Purpose: Email delivery for transactional and service-related communications. Information shared: Email address, name.

3.3 Microsoft Azure

Purpose: Cloud hosting and data storage. Information shared: All data processed through the Service is stored on Azure infrastructure.

3.4 Google Analytics

Purpose: Website analytics and usage tracking. Information shared: Usage data, device information, IP address (anonymized where required by law).

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

4.1 What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help us recognize you, remember your preferences, and understand how you use our Service.

4.2 Types of Cookies We Use

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information and User Content. We do not retain user data after account deletion, except as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution).

7. International Data Transfers

All data is stored and processed exclusively in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our data centers are located. The data protection laws in the United States may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR (European Users)
